The latest celebrity to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign is Priyanka Chopra. The actress was clicked cleaning a street in Mumbai with her team.
Her mother, Madhu Chopra, posted the photograph on microblogging website Twitter and tweeted, “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by Priyanka Chopra and team.”
The ‘Swachh Bharat’ initiative was launched on October 2 and celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan participated in the campaign.
Priyanka took to the street after she came from Abu Dhabi, where she was attending the Abu Dhabi Film Destival. On Thursday, she tweeted, “Now finally in mumbai for a few hrs.. LA LA land here I come...”
She later shared that she will be off to Los Angeles to attend a Halloween party.
“Going to a Halloween party in LA. Any costume recommendations? #PlayDressUpWithPC.”
